WOF Cares
World of Fun espouses the principle of shared value in its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. As a company in the amusement industry, WOF implements programs that are aligned to our social vision statement which focuses on four elements: to provide fun experience, family values, education and family welfare. Hence, the CSR programs that we create address different social issues such as family disintegration, unemployment, poverty and lack of opportunity for education.
Nationwide FUN Treat Program WOF CARES rev
Nationwide Fun Treat Program is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of World of Fun dedicated to infuse hope, create happy memories and help improve the quality of life of children having experienced life-altering situations such as those abandoned by their parents and temporarily sheltered in orphanages or assisted by institutions. The program provides fun games, snacks and entertainment for children.The first Fun Treat Program was launched at Sta. Lucia Mall branch in August 23, 2012, in coordination with Alay Buhay Foundation. This was also implemented in SM Cebu branch last September 23, 2013 with SOS Children Village Foundation and in SM Clark branch on May 17, 2013 with Children's Home of the Immaculate Heart of Mary as the recipient.
Kapuso Mo Ang WOF Program
World of Fun tie-up with GMA Kapuso started in November 2010. Every 1st Saturday of the month, World of Fun employees visit the GMA Warehouse to volunteer in packing relief goods for distribution by GMA Kapuso Foundation. WOF employees as supported by Management, are unselfishly giving their time and effort for the spirit of volunteerism.
Other CSR Programs
Aside from the Nationwide Fun Treat and Kapuso Mo ang WOF programs, WOF also conduct annual bloodletting program in coordination with Philippine National Red Cross. Likewise, to support education, there is a periodic machine donation in technical schools identified nationwide for laboratory and technical application of students.
